It’s very forkable, there’s literally a fork this week. The difference is the ability to resist forks is more damaged than before and after ethereum classic nobody will go against the foundation and have to face their forked premine dumped on them for years to come just like before. Main ethereum chain (classic) was an attempt to demonstrate resistance to state edits by premine devs that created the fork. Now everyone knows it’s not possible to resist. This isn’t purely technical issue, it’s a centralized control of premine and thus value of incentives and determination of “permitted” chain forever.
