please don’t compare any cryptocurrency with literal scam like zcash — trusted setup means zcash is not a cryptocurrency and not relevant to this field. zcash put in a centralized backdoor, the reason why all legitimate developers didn’t use zkp until they are trustless, only scammers pretend those are acceptable. trusting any size party not to use a backdoor for infinite money, SECRETLY even, is the exact opposite of trust minimization.
